Ghost Hunt Middleton Hall Deposit Option Available Middleton Hall is a Grade II listed building dating back to medieval times. The first written record of Middleton is in the Domesday Book of 1086, and elements of the hall date back to the 13th Century. In the mid-17th Century, the Hall was the home of Francis Willoughby, who passed the estate to his descendants, the Middleton Barons. The Middleton and Wollaton estates were later sold in the 1920s. The Hall, once a lived-in family home until 1966, was later purchased by a company for gravel extraction, leaving the building and grounds abandoned for a decade. The Hall fell into disrepair over many years; however, in 1980, a group of dedicated volunteers founded the Middleton Hall Trust, united by their love of history and preservation. But is it Haunted? Strange phenomena have been reported by staff. Now inhabited primarily by the ghosts and spirits that remain here, footsteps are often heard approaching, but no one ever appears. Dark figures have been seen on the staircase, and shapes move quickly from room to room. What awaits us? There is a real sense of somebody watching you as you wander through rooms. It’s no surprise that staff and visitors have seen ghostly apparitions here. But who exactly are these spirits that continue to be seen at Middleton Hall? Will you join us?
