Ghost Walk Bradgate Park Bradgate House was one of the earliest brick-built county houses in England, and the childhood home of Lady Jane Grey, Queen of England for Nine Days in 1553 This has to be one of the most popular visitor attractions in Leicestershire, and it’s easy to see why. As the least-known British monarch, Lady Jane’s story is even more exciting, and the ruins of her childhood home remain on this site today. This is also a hugely popular location for archaeological investigations … as well as paranormal ones… However, there is much more to Bradgate than the 9-day Queen. Today, only the striking ruins of the manor remain. Whether you believe in ghosts or not, there’s no denying that Bradgate becomes a truly haunting sight after dark.
