Steeped in over 700 years, from its 13th-century medieval stone origins and Jacobean transformations, to its dramatic ties with Sir Everard Digby and the 1605 Gunpowder Plot, the 1620s House at Donington le Heath stands as one of Leicestershire’s most atmospheric heritage sites. But behind its ancient timber doors and mullioned windows, lies a historic building deeply shadowed by centuries of continuous occupation, tragic turns and deep-rooted Jacobean superstition. This house over several years has become a formidable place of paranormal activity, where ghostly figures are sighted, creepy footsteps echo, disembodied whispers are heard, and poltergeist activity await those brave enough to step into the dark. Join us as we investigate this unique haunted location using a variety of different paranormal equipment, such as EMF Meters, REM Pods, Spirit Boxes and Detectors, plus our own senses as we attempt to find out what spirits still roam this site. We will be using methods like Victorian Table Tipping, Ouija Boards and the Estes Method, as well as utilising other equipment and techniques throughout the night in an attempt to communicate with the spirits of the 1620s House.
