Step into the Abbey's shadow of historic Church Street in Tewkesbury, where the ancient timber-framed complex of the 15th century John Moore Museum, the 16th century Merchant’s House, and the secret Old Baptist Chapel stand as silent witnesses to centuries of dark history and blood-soaked warfare. Ever since the devastating 1471 Battle of Tewkesbury, where fleeing Lancastrian soldiers were ruthlessly slaughtered across the 'Bloody Meadow' and executed on sacred Abbey ground, this town has been gripped by harrowing paranormal experiences. From phantom footsteps creaking across old floorboards and dark Tudor apparitions vanishing into walls, to blood-curdling screams heard in the dead of night and heavy door latches lifting on their own accord. Join us as we investigate these unique haunted locations using a variety of different paranormal equipment, such as EMF Meters, REM Pods, Dowsing Rods and Detectors, plus our own senses as we attempt to find out what spirits still roam this site. We will be using methods like Victorian Table Tipping, Glass Divination and the Ouija Board, as well as utilising other equipment and techniques throughout the night in an attempt to communicate with the spirits of Tewkesbury.
