Brixham Ghost Walk Discover the darker side of Brixham with a unique and interactive blend of history and the paranormal. This immersive 90-minute evening experience explores the real history, ghost stories, forgotten legends and mysterious events connected to one of Devon's most historic fishing towns. Beginning beside Brixham's famous harbour, your host will lead you through the old streets and historic corners of the town, uncovering stories shaped by centuries of life at sea. Discover tales of sailors and fishermen, smugglers and shipwrecks, tragedy, local folklore and reported unexplained activity. But this is more than a traditional ghost walk. There are no actors, costumes or staged scares. Instead, the Brixham Ghost Walk combines carefully researched storytelling and authentic local history with an interactive exploration of the paranormal. At selected locations during the walk, guests will have the opportunity to take part in optional paranormal experiments using recognised ghost-hunting equipment, exploring some of the locations and stories for themselves. Participation is entirely optional, and you are equally welcome to simply watch. Important information The Brixham Ghost Walk is an outdoor walking experience and operates in most weather conditions. The route follows public streets, pavements and historic areas around the town, and some surfaces may be uneven or include inclines and steps. Suitable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are strongly recommended. Advance booking is essential, as places are limited on every walk.
