Caerphilly Ghost Walk Discover the darker side of Caerphilly beneath the imposing shadow of one of Wales's most remarkable medieval castles. This immersive 90-minute evening experience explores the real history, ghost stories, forgotten legends and mysterious events connected to Caerphilly and the people who have shaped the town through the centuries. Beginning with the dramatic backdrop of Caerphilly Castle, your host will lead you through the surrounding historic streets and overlooked corners of the town, revealing stories of conflict, tragedy, unusual local characters and reported unexplained activity. This is not a theatrical ghost tour. There are no actors, costumes or staged scares. Instead, the Caerphilly Ghost Walk combines carefully researched storytelling, atmospheric locations and authentic local history to help you experience the town from an entirely different perspective. At selected points during the walk, guests will also have the opportunity to take part in an optional paranormal investigation using recognised equipment. Participation is entirely optional, and you are equally welcome to observe. Important information The experience begins beside the Tommy Cooper statue on The Twyn, overlooking Caerphilly Castle. Please note that the walk does not enter Caerphilly Castle, and castle admission is not required. This is an outdoor walking experience and operates in most weather conditions. The route follows public pavements and historic streets, with some uneven surfaces, steps and waterside areas along the way. Suitable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are strongly recommended. Advance booking is essential, as places are limited on every walk.
