Cardiff Ghost Walk

About this event

Discover the hidden side of Cardiff on a guided ghost walk exploring the city's layered history, folklore and reports of the unexplained. From medieval streets to Victorian developments and riverside routes shaped by industry, Cardiff offers a rich and atmospheric backdrop for an evening of intriguing stories and discovery. Guided by an Extours host, you'll hear researched accounts of unusual events, long-standing legends and reported encounters connected to some of the city's most historic locations. Guests may also choose to take part in optional paranormal investigation using EMF meters, dowsing rods and other recognised tools — or simply enjoy the stories and atmosphere as the walk unfolds. We avoid gimmicks and jump scares; we aim to intrigue, not terrify, by exploring the unanswered mysteries woven into Cardiff's past. Age Guidance – Early walks are family-friendly and open to under-16s (recommended age 8+). – Later evening walks are 16+ to offer an adults-only experience. – Well-behaved dogs are welcome on all walks. Weather Walks run in most conditions. If severe weather makes the event unsafe, we will postpone and offer an alternative date. Thoughtful, immersive and rooted in real history, the Cardiff Ghost Walk offers a captivating way to uncover the lesser-known stories and lingering mysteries of Wales' capital city. Please note: this experience does not enter the grounds of Cardiff Castle
