Carmarthen Ghost Walk

About this event

Carmarthen Ghost Walk — History Beneath the Surface Carmarthen is one of the oldest towns in Wales — a place shaped by conflict, power and centuries of recorded history. Beneath the modern streets lies a past marked by execution, imprisonment, disease and belief in the unseen. This experience explores real events tied to real locations across the town — from the remains of Carmarthen Castle and the legacy of Norman control, to the streets shaped by medieval life, unrest and punishment. You'll hear documented accounts, local folklore and reports of unexplained activity — all carefully researched and presented without exaggeration or theatrical elements. This is not a performance. There are no actors. Nothing is staged. At selected locations, guests have the option to take part in a hands-on paranormal investigation using real equipment — or simply observe and take in the atmosphere. Each evening is shaped by the group, the environment and the locations themselves. What to expect: Small group experience Real history, folklore and reported activity Authentic locations across Carmarthen Optional hands-on investigation Whether you're drawn by the history, the atmosphere, or the unexplained, this is an experience designed to feel grounded, immersive and genuinely different.
