Cheltenham Ghost Walk

About this event

The Cheltenham Ghost Walk A unique and immersive Extours experience after dark Cheltenham is known for its elegance — Regency terraces, sweeping promenades and fashionable society. But beneath the polished façade lies a more complex story. Cheltenham Ghost Walk explores the town after dark, uncovering hidden histories, documented hauntings and the human stories that shaped its quieter corners. From churchyards and civic landmarks to streets long associated with unexplained encounters, this experience reveals a side of Cheltenham rarely seen in daylight. Rather than theatrical performance, the walk is grounded in research, atmosphere and historical context. At selected locations, guests have the optional opportunity to use authentic paranormal investigation equipment to explore reported activity. This is not simply a ghost walk. It is Cheltenham beyond the façade — history, hauntings and lingering atmosphere. Important Information: Earlier session: Family-friendly. Later session: 16+ (darker historical themes). Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome. This is an outdoor walking experience and goes ahead in all weather unless deemed unsafe. Please dress appropriately and wear suitable footwear. Group sizes are limited. Early booking is recommended.
