Discover Dunster after dark on an immersive ghost walk through one of England's most atmospheric villages. With medieval streets, ancient buildings and a history shaped by conflict, folklore and superstition, Dunster provides a remarkable setting for exploring stories that have lingered for centuries. Guided by an experienced Extours host, you'll hear researched accounts of past residents, mysterious sightings and unusual events said to echo through the village's narrow lanes. Along the route, guests may choose to join the optional investigation using EMF meters, dowsing rods and other recognised tools — or simply enjoy the storytelling as the evening unfolds. Age Guidance – Early walks are family-friendly and open to under-16s (recommended age 8+). – Later walks are 16+ to offer an adults-only experience. Weather Our walks run in most weather conditions. If severe weather ever makes the event unsafe, we will postpone and offer an alternative date. Atmospheric, engaging and rooted in Dunster's unique heritage, this ghost walk is ideal for anyone who enjoys interactive storytelling, local history and exploring a village with a reputation for the unexplained.
