Lyme Regis Ghost Walk Discover the darker side of Lyme Regis with a unique and interactive blend of history and the paranormal. This immersive 90-minute evening experience explores the real history, ghost stories, forgotten legends and mysterious events connected to one of the most historic towns on the Jurassic Coast. As darkness falls over Lyme Regis, your host will lead you through the town's historic streets and along its famous seafront, uncovering a past shaped by the sea and the generations of people who have lived, worked and died here. Discover stories of shipwrecks and devastating storms, smugglers and sailors, tragedy and mysterious deaths, alongside local legends, reported hauntings and accounts of unexplained activity associated with the town. But this is more than a traditional ghost walk. There are no actors, costumes or staged scares. Instead, the Lyme Regis Ghost Walk combines carefully researched history and storytelling with an interactive exploration of the paranormal, giving you the opportunity to discover a very different side of this famous seaside town. At selected locations during the walk, guests will also have the opportunity to take part in optional paranormal experiments using recognised ghost-hunting equipment. Explore some of the stories and locations for yourself and see whether anything unusual can be detected. Participation is entirely optional, and you are equally welcome to simply watch. Important information The Lyme Regis Ghost Walk is an outdoor walking experience and operates in most weather conditions. The route follows public streets, pavements and areas of the historic seafront. Some sections may include uneven surfaces, inclines and steps. Suitable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are strongly recommended. Advance booking is essential, as places are limited on every walk.
