Beginning at Palace Avenue Gardens, this immersive evening experience explores the hidden side of Paignton through historic streets, medieval landmarks, local legends, reported hauntings and stories that many visitors never discover. As we journey through the town after dark, we uncover tales connected to Paignton's medieval past, the influence of the Bishops of Exeter, forgotten buildings, local folklore, maritime history and unexplained events that have become part of the town's story. Along the way, we visit atmospheric locations including the historic heart of Old Paignton, the Parish Church area, the remains of the Bishop's Palace and the harbour, exploring the people, events and legends associated with each. This is not a theatrical ghost tour. There are no actors, jump scares or staged experiences. Instead, the Paignton Ghost Walk combines carefully researched local history, folklore and reported paranormal accounts to provide a fascinating insight into the town's past after dark.
