Behind Seaton's familiar seaside setting lies a history shaped by dangerous waters, storms, shipwrecks, smuggling, tragedy and stories that have survived long after the people involved were gone. Join Extours for a 90-minute journey through Seaton after dark, combining fascinating local history with ghost stories, folklore and an interactive exploration of the paranormal. As your host leads you through the town, discover stories from Seaton's past and its long relationship with the sea. Hear tales of sailors and smugglers, lives lost along the coast and unusual events, alongside local ghost stories and accounts of strange or unexplained encounters. There are no actors, costumes or staged scares. Instead, the Seaton Ghost Walk explores real history, authentic locations and reported paranormal experiences, allowing you to hear the evidence and stories and decide for yourself what you believe. At selected points during the walk, guests can also take part in optional paranormal experiments using recognised ghost-hunting equipment. Participation is entirely optional, and you are equally welcome to observe. Important information The Seaton Ghost Walk is an outdoor walking experience and operates in most weather conditions. The route follows public streets, pavements and areas around the town, with some uneven surfaces along the way. Suitable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended. Advance booking is essential, as places are limited on every walk.
