Stroud Ghost Walk Surrounded by the Five Valleys, Stroud is a town shaped by centuries of industry, ancient routes and the woollen mills that once made this corner of Gloucestershire famous. But among its historic streets lies another collection of stories — of tragedy, unusual events, local legends and the unexplained. Join Extours for a 90-minute journey through Stroud after dark, combining fascinating local history with ghost stories, folklore and an interactive exploration of the paranormal. As your host leads you through the town, discover stories connected to Stroud's past and the generations who lived and worked here, alongside accounts of strange encounters and reported paranormal activity. There are no actors, costumes or staged scares. Instead, this experience is built around carefully researched storytelling, real locations and the opportunity to explore some of the paranormal claims for yourself. At selected points during the walk, guests can take part in optional paranormal experiments using recognised ghost-hunting equipment. Participation is entirely optional, and you are equally welcome to observe. Important information This is an outdoor walking experience and operates in most weather conditions. The route follows public streets and historic areas, with some uneven surfaces and inclines. Suitable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended. Advance booking is essential, as places are limited on every walk.
