About this event

Discover Warminster after dark on a guided ghost walk exploring the town's curious history, local legends and long-standing accounts of the unexplained. Known for its unusual sightings, ancient surroundings and stories that stretch back centuries, Warminster offers a uniquely atmospheric setting for an evening of exploration. Your Extours host will lead you through locations linked with strange events, forgotten tales and encounters that have become part of the town's folklore. Each story is carefully researched, revealing a deeper layer of Warminster's past while highlighting the mysteries that continue to intrigue visitors today. Guests may also choose to take part in optional paranormal investigation using EMF meters, dowsing rods and other recognised tools — or simply enjoy the atmosphere as the walk unfolds. We avoid gimmicks and jump scares; our focus is on genuine history and mysteries designed to leave you intrigued rather than terrified. Age Guidance – Early walks are family-friendly and open to under-16s (recommended age 8+). – Later walks are 16+ to offer an adults-only experience. – Well-behaved dogs are welcome on all walks. Weather Walks continue in most conditions. If severe weather creates unsafe circumstances, we will postpone and offer an alternative date. Atmospheric, engaging and rooted in Warminster's distinctive history, this ghost walk offers a memorable way to uncover the stories and secrets that linger in the town after dark.
