Discover the hidden side of Wells on an atmospheric ghost walk that explores the city's long history, folklore and accounts of the unexplained. With its medieval streets, ancient architecture and centuries of spiritual tradition, Wells provides a striking setting for an evening of storytelling and exploration. Guided by an Extours host, you'll hear researched tales of unusual events, local legends and figures said to linger in the city's older quarters. Guests may choose to join the optional paranormal investigation using EMF meters, dowsing rods and other recognised tools, or simply enjoy the atmosphere as the walk unfolds. Extours experiences do not use gimmicks or jump scares — we explore history and mystery in a way designed to leave you intrigued rather than frightened. Age Guidance – Early walks are family-friendly and open to under-16s (recommended age 8+). – Later evening walks are 16+ to offer an adults-only experience. Weather Events run in most conditions. If severe weather makes the walk unsafe, we will postpone and offer an alternative date.
