Explore Wimborne after dark on a guided ghost walk uncovering the town's hidden stories, folklore and long-standing accounts of the unexplained. With its medieval streets, historic inns and the shadow of the Minster, Wimborne provides an atmospheric backdrop for an evening of storytelling and discovery. Guided by an Extours host, you'll hear researched tales of unusual events, curious legends and sightings said to have lingered through the centuries. Guests may also choose to take part in optional paranormal investigation using EMF meters, dowsing rods and other recognised tools — or simply enjoy the atmosphere as the walk unfolds. We avoid gimmicks and jump scares; our focus is on genuine exploration and mysteries designed to leave you intrigued, not terrified. Age Guidance – Early walks are family-friendly and open to under-16s (recommended age 8+). – Later evening walks are 16+ for an adults-only experience. – Well-behaved dogs are welcome on all walks. Weather Walks run in most conditions. If severe weather creates unsafe conditions, we will postpone and offer an alternative date.
