Allington Manor stands in the village of Allington near Grantham in Lincolnshire. Known formally as the Old Manor House, it is a small country house of the mid-seventeenth century, built of gold ironstone with ornate Dutch gables, scrolled stone volutes and a dog-leg staircase, probably dating to around 1660. The building is Grade II* listed, a designation first made in 1952. Lincolnshire's Historic Environment Record identifies the site as a manor house and former farmstead, and it lies within the Allington conservation area. The house is one of a small group of Dutch-gabled buildings surviving in this part of Lincolnshire, reflecting the prosperity of its seventeenth-century owners.
