Overstrand Hall

Norfolk

No dates are listed at Overstrand Hall right now.

Overstrand Hall, on the Norfolk coast, was designed by the architect Edwin Lutyens and built in 1899 for the 2nd Baron Hillingdon, on the site of an earlier hall. The building is Grade II listed, a designation made in 1972. It combines flint, brick, tile and stone in a mixture of Jacobean and classical styles typical of Lutyens's early country house work. The hall's use has changed considerably over time: it served for many years as a convalescent home before becoming an education and activity centre, a role it continues to fulfil today.
