Other nights you want the freedom to chase the activity your way. This is Choose Your Path — a high-energy, 4-hour investigation inside the original, time-worn rooms of the infamous Four Crosses Inn. On arrival, you decide how you want to hunt: Work with a host (structured, guided, perfect for first-timers) Go it alone (self-led “rogue” investigation, perfect for experienced guests) Maximum 10 guests for an intimate, proper investigation — not a crowded night. Event Details Date: Thursday 26th November 2026 Time: 8:00pm – 12:00am (4 hours) Venue: Four Crosses Inn, Watling Street, Cannock, Staffordshire, WS11 1RX Group size: Maximum 10 guests Age: 16+ (under 18s must be with an adult) Access note: Original rooms only (no newer extended areas — only available on our sleepover events). A clear plan for the night (where we’re going, what we’re trying, what we’re listening for) Equipment guidance (how to use it, what false positives look like, and how to log it) Structured sessions designed to build confidence and maximise chances of activity Ideal for: first-timers, nervous guests, and anyone who wants structure. Path 2 Go It Alone (Rogue Team) If you’ve done ghost hunts before and you want freedom, pick Rogue. Agreed investigation zones to explore with yourself, or your fellow ghost hunters attending with you Optional check-ins so you still get the “big moments” and a shared round-up A simple mission card to keep it focused Ideal for: experienced guests, returners, and people who want autonomy. Fairness note: If everyone chooses the same path on arrival, we’ll balance groups so the night stays high-quality for everyone. The Night’s Format (Example Running Order) 8:00pm Welcome, safety briefing, equipment intro 8:30pm Choose Your Path split (Host-Led vs Rogue) 8:30pm – 10:15pm First investigation phase (rotations / hotspots) 10:15pm Midpoint regroup + reset 10:30pm – 11:45pm Second investigation phase (vigils / experiments) 11:45pm – 12:00am Final round-up, shared experiences, close What to Bring Torch to see where you are going (white beam, but red light is accepted) Comfortable layers (old buildings get cold) Closed-toe footwear A notebook/notes app (if you like logging times) Any personal comforts you need for a late evening investigation Important Information This is a Thrilling Thursdays: choose your path event: 8pm–12am and no sleepover option This format uses the original rooms only This is a ticketless event Payment Options Guests can pay in full or hold their places with a £20.00 per person deposit . If paying a deposit, the final balance is due 28 days prior to the event to secure the booking. The deposit option is not available for events that are due to take place within 28 days.
