Himley Hall

Himley Hall is a Grade II* listed country house dating from the early eighteenth century. William Atkinson substantially enlarged it between 1824 and 1827. The house stands within a Grade II Registered Park whose landscape was extended by Lancelot Brown in the 1770s and altered again during the nineteenth-century remodelling. These separate designations recognise both the architecture of the hall and the development of its wider estate, which together reflect several centuries of change at Himley.
