Wymering Manor

Wymering Manor stands in Cosham, in the city of Portsmouth, and was designated a Grade II* listed building in January 1953. The house incorporates some medieval masonry but is mainly of 17th-century construction, with further extensions made in the early 19th century and around 1900. The later additions reused architectural features from Bold Hall, a Palladian mansion in Lancashire designed by Giacomo Leoni around 1730 and demolished in 1900. The building has been recorded on Historic England's Heritage at Risk register, reflecting concern for its condition despite its high heritage status.
