Ghost Hunts at Warmley Clock Tower

Warmley Clock Tower forms part of a stone building, listed as "Slab", within the former Warmley brassworks near Bristol. The tower dates from 1743 and originally embodied part of William Champion's brass foundry, and it still houses an 18th-century bell and clock with an octagonal external dial. The building is Grade II listed, first listed in 1953, while the wider brassworks complex founded by Champion in 1743 is separately designated as a scheduled monument. Together these designations recognise Warmley as an early and largely intact example of an 18th-century integrated industrial site, combining smelting, milling and finished-goods production on a single estate.
