Leah's Yard

Leah's Yard on Cambridge Street in Sheffield city centre comprises a former shop and a rear courtyard of workshops, dating principally to the mid-19th century with later 19th and 20th-century alterations. The complex is designated a Grade II* listed building, first placed on the National Heritage List for England on 31 May 1983. Its fabric has been the subject of successive historic building recording exercises, in 1988, in 2005-2006 and again as part of the Heart of the City II development, reflecting its significance as a surviving example of Sheffield's small-scale industrial workshop architecture. The buildings have since undergone conservation repair works to secure their long-term future within the city centre.
