The White House Hotel Worcester

The White House Hotel occupies a Grade II listed building on Foregate Street in Worcester, officially recorded on the National Heritage List for England as the Star Hotel. The main structure dates from around 1820, with a further extension built in the same style by 1886. Constructed in red brick with painted stucco dressings, the building was previously known as the Star and Garter. It stands close to Foregate Street railway station in the heart of the city, retaining features noted in its listing such as decorative cast-iron balconies. The building continues in use today as hotel accommodation.
