Ghost Hunts at Skirrid Inn

The Skirrid Inn stands at Llanvihangel Crucorney in Monmouthshire, below the Skirrid mountain. Cadw designates the property, described as the inn with its attached barn, at Grade II. The Royal Commission's Coflein record describes the building itself as a two-storey stone house with a hipped slate roof and a staircase of sixteenth or seventeenth century date, catalogued as a post-medieval public house. Claims published elsewhere about the inn being older than that are not established by either record, though the documented fabric is substantial in its own right.
