Ghost Hunts at Strelley Hall

Strelley Hall near Nottingham is a Grade II listed country house, designated in 1952. The present building was constructed between 1789 and 1792 by the architect Thomas Gardner of Uttoxeter for Thomas Edge, replacing an earlier house on the site. Within the hall, a room known as the Castle Room incorporates the base of a medieval tower, evidence of the site's earlier occupation. Built of rendered brick with a slate hipped and gabled roof, the square-plan house later served as offices. Its structure reflects successive phases of building across several centuries.
