Ghost Hunts at The Black Horse Wakefield

The Black Horse stands on Westgate in Wakefield, within the Upper Westgate Conservation Area. Local research by Wakefield Historical Society dates its first opening as a pub to 1818, making it one of the city's older surviving inns, and trade directories record licensees through the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Historic England includes the Black Horse public house on the National Heritage List.
